Ordinary PU hoses crack and leak quickly under high temperature and oil pollution, leading to higher air compressor power consumption and frequent production line downtime. Different hose materials have obvious difference in temperature and medium resistance, so selection and regular replacement rules are required.
| Hose Type | Long-term Operating Temp | Oil Resistance | Standard Service Life(Dry Room) | Forbidden Scenarios |
| Standard PU | -10~60℃ | Average, swells with long-term oil contact | 12 months | Welding & machine cutting fluid area |
| Oil-resistant Modified PU | -15~80℃ | Excellent, resistant to cutting oil & lubricant | 18 months | Long-term outdoor sun exposure |
| Food-grade PE | 0~50℃ | Poor, brittle when contacting oil | 10 months | High temperature & oil equipment surrounding |
1. Min bending radius ≥4 times outer diameter to avoid inner layer delamination from long-term bending; 2. Smooth hose cut without burrs, push fully into quick fitting and pull lightly to confirm locking; 3. Install heat insulation corrugated pipe around high-temperature equipment to slow aging; 4. Weather-resistant TPU hose mandatory for outdoor lines, PU/PE cannot be exposed long-term.
1. Surface whitening & crack when bent: Replace whole section immediately; 2. Continuous micro leakage near fitting: Inner tube hardened and shrunk, cannot be fixed by tightening fitting; 3. Annual replacement cycle: 12 months for clean dry workshop; 6 months for oil & high temp workshop; 4 months for outdoor stations.
